LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels is set to meet with the New England Patriots on Monday, per his agent, via NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Daniels is a potential quarterback target for the team, and they have already done their homework on him. Nine members of the Patriots organization were at his pro day with the team in desperation mode for a new signal-caller.
Daniels is coming off a career-year at LSU in 2023. He tallied 3,812 yards, 40 touchdowns and four interceptions. His strong arm and rushing ability make him highly-coveted for a team like New England, who has struggled with consistency at the quarterback position over the last couple of seasons.

New England has a lot of different ways they could use the third overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft.
Along with hosting Daniels next week, they are going to Drake Maye’s pro day on Friday, and J.J. McCarthy is another name that has received a lot of buzz recently as a potential top-three pick.
