The Baltimore Ravens are installing a new offensive system over the course of the 2023 offseason. The team parted ways with now-former offensive coordinator Greg Roman, bringing in Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken to replace him.
After practicing at the team’s 2023 voluntary organized team activities for the first time, Jackson spoke to the media about a plethora of different topics. He was asked about the new style of offense that Todd Monken brings to the table, and called what he’s seeing from Monken’s system “tremendous”, while also saying “running can only take you so far”
“Just being able to throw the ball down the field. Sometimes, we can’t … Running can only take you so far, and I feel like, with this new era of teams and offenses in the league, I feel like we need that. And [offensive coordinator] Coach Todd Monken, what I’m seeing in his offense so far is looking tremendous.”
