Rag 'n' Bone Man announces Cardiff date after cancelling summer show

Singer-songwriter Rag 'n' Bone man has announced a Cardiff date for 2023 after he pulled out of Depot in the Castle in July 2022. The award-winning singer will be playing in Cardiff in the summer of 2023.

Rag 'n' Bone man is set to perform at Cardiff Castle, the same venue he pulled out of in 2022, on Sunday, June 25. Tickets for the gig go on sale at 9am on Friday, December 9 from gigantic.com.

Fans can sign up for early access via the exclusive promoter pre-sale by clicking here. The show is delivered in partnership with Orchard Live and FKP Scorpio who have brought the likes of Diana Ross, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Dermot Kennedy to Cardiff Castle.

It has not yet been confirmed if Rag 'n' Bone Man will be sharing the stage with any other artists. The singer, whose name is Rory Graham, took to social media in 2022 to confirm his cancellation at Cardiff Castle.

He said: "So sorry to say that I am still too unwell to play Depot in the Castle in Cardiff tonight. I'm gutted but have to follow doctor's orders. Big love to you all." It is gearing up to be a great year for live music in 2023 in Cardiff as Pop-punk, New Wave, and New York legends Blondie will perform at Cardiff Castle next summer and indie band Bastille will be headlining Depot at the Castle. Harry Styles and Coldplay are already announced for the Principality Stadium and The Chemical Brothers will be at Alexandra Head in Cardiff Bay on September 9, 2023. Sting is also bringing his My Songs tour to the castle next summer.
