A Queensland man who murdered his wife and stepdaughter more than 20 years ago is making a bid for parole.
Rodney Michael Cherry, 62, was found guilty of killing 35-year-old Annette Cherry and 18-year-old Kira Guise in 2002 and sentenced to life in prison.
Kira's body has never been found, but he allegedly confessed her murder to another inmate.
The Parole Board will decide whether Cherry has given "satisfactory co-operation in the investigation" into Kira's murder under the state's no body, no parole law.
His matter will be heard in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday, with the board's decision to be published at a later date.
Cherry killed his wife in Roma around June 6, 1997, after she reported him to police for having sexual relationships with her daughters Kira and Debbie Maree Guise.
Cherry supplied a gun to Debbie, then aged 19, and told her to shoot her mother dead, which she did.
He killed Kira about two years later to stop her telling police what she knew about her mother's murder, the court heard.
Cherry later told an inmate he killed Kira because she "couldn't keep her mouth shut like her mother".
Debbie Maree Guise was found guilty of manslaughter in 1998. She served four years in prison before being granted parole.
Cherry unsuccessfully tried to appeal his murder convictions in 2004 and again in 2014.
He was bashed and stabbed by another inmate at Maryborough Correctional Centre in 2008.
