The scene outside the cathedral was filled with artisans, scaffolders, roofers, sculptors, painters, engineers, technicians, fire safety officials, and members of the public, all eagerly awaiting the President's visit.
After wrapping up his tour, President Macron led the group on a tour of the newly restored Notre Dame. The crowd erupted in cheers and applause as they entered the cathedral to witness the transformation inside.
The Elysee Palace shared that the President had extended invitations to citizens who had expressed their sadness and contributed to the reconstruction efforts through donations. Among the attendees were pensioners, a translator, and a family carer, all of whom were present for the final site visit to witness the restored beauty of Notre Dame.
