New dates have been added on Ticketmaster for Peter Kay Live: Better Late Than Never tour in 2023 and 2025 after the second round of tour dates sold out
The much-loved comedian appeared on BBC Radio 2's Sara Cox show on Thursday evening (December 8) to tell fans the exciting news. Speaking to Sara Cox, he said: "We've finally managed to book some more extra dates!"
But it seemed it wasn't enough as hundreds of fans complained about long queue times meaning they still couldn't get their hands on the hugely sought-after tickets. As a result, the Bolton comedian took to Twitter to announce even more dates.

Extra dates went on sale for cities like Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield and Glasgow - making it 11 dates in total. Ticketmaster Tweeted: "NEW DATES. Wow - lots of you looking for Peter Kay tickets this morning. We've just announced new dates in Birmingham (5 Dec 2025), Leeds (7 March 2025), Manchester (21 March 2025) and Sheffield (2 May 2025)."
It came after several fans complained of long queues for tickets and low availability within minutes. One user said: "Was ready and waiting, again, logged in and waiting patiently. 107k in queue, now sold out. VERY FRUSTRATING. I too had tickets for the cancelled show. Wish we had gotten priority."
Alan said: "A complete waste of time tried for two at Newcastle. 51,000 in queue. What makes its worse I had tickets for cancelled gig now cannot get 2 for 4 dates at Newcastle."
Annie said: "If Peter Kay has put on extra dates because a lot of fans missed out, then why on earth are people allowed to buy TEN tickets. There were 4080 in the queue before me but already a message saying tickets were limited. So I did not get any even though I only wanted 2."
