Former Nottingham Forest loanee Renan Lodi will 'soon' be joining Marseille, according to a report.
The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at Forest, making 32 appearances as Steve Cooper and his men secured their status as a Premier League club. His impressive displays led for calls from supporters to bring him back in the transfer window.
Forest did have an option to make the deal permanent in the loan agreement for around €25 million (£21.4m), but that expired before the end of the season. They could now miss out on the left-back, with a move to Marseille imminent.

That's according to journalist Ekrem Konur, who tweeted that Lodi will 'soon' be a Marseille player. That is despite a report on Friday claiming Forest were in 'talks' with Atletico Madrid over a permanent move for the Brazilian.
Speaking last month, Lodi’s agent Pablo Miranda said of his client: “Renan's goal is to compete at the highest level,” he said in a translated interview . “(He) Made 32 appearances in the toughest league in the world. Many Brazilian players suffer in their first season in England and end up not playing.
“Renan was instrumental in Nottingham's stay in the Premier League and has everyone's recognition for what he did during that season. That said, his goal is to continue playing in high-level competitions, if possible, return to the Champions League and compete for titles again.”
