A NATIONAL demonstration calling for a ceasefire in Gaza will take place in Edinburgh on Saturday.
The demonstration will start at 1pm and participants have been asked to meet at Regent Road, before marching to the Scottish Parliament at 1:15pm.
The rally is organised by the Gaza Genocide Emergency Committee, who have also planned a convoy to the demonstration to leave from Glasgow.
Those taking part have been asked to meet at the Odeon Quay Carpark, Glasgow, at 10am, before travelling on the M8 and arriving outside the US Consulate in Edinburgh at 1pm.
Organisers have encouraged demonstrators to wrap up warm, as yellow weather warnings for snow and ice are in place across Scotland.
The last national demonstration took place in Glasgow on November 18.
A bike ride, organised by Big Ride for Palestine, has also been planned in Glasgow.
The ride, calling for "freedom, justice and equality for Palestine", will start at 10am at Queen's Park, Victoria Road Entrance, and will end at 11:30am at GalGael Trust, Fairley Street.
