An OnlyFans model claims she was ordered off the ice rink at a Winter Wonderland for wearing an “inappropriate” skirt.
Lowri Rose says her experience was “completely ruined” after another customer complained about her attire at Winter Wonderland in Cardiff.
Lowri, who was wearing the offending skirt over shorts with a turtleneck top said she had been left “humiliated” by the experience and has demanded a refund.
While enjoying an evening out with a friend, Lowri's night turned sour when a “Karen” complained about her outfit.
Lowri, who as well as her OnlyFans subscribers also has thousands of followers on TikTok and Twitter, says the incident will not lead to a change in her style.
Speaking with the Daily Star, she said: "I’m covered in tattoos so it’s not uncommon that I’m harassed by Karen type women.
"I knew as soon as they wanted to pull me off the ice what it was for. I know it’s due to how I look in general because this is such a frequent occurrence from some women.
“It’s just a real shame that they’re refusing to acknowledge that it was a mistake on their end.
“If it was a case of my skirt came up and someone wanted to let me know I would have no issue, I don’t want the humiliation of being exposed in public.
"But there’s no required dress code for ice skating so I don’t see an issue with wearing a skirt. I grew up ice skating and it’s not uncommon for the skaters to wear tiny clothes.
"I will continue to wear outfits that make me feel confident, this hasn’t changed a thing.”
Lowri also aired her complaints in a series of tweets shared with her 53,000 followers.
She wrote: “I’d like to know why I was pulled off the ice yesterday and humiliated by staff for wearing a skirt (with shorts underneath).
“I hadn’t realised there was such a strict dress code for skating? Not sure why your staff comply with blatant bullying...
“If a female customer complains because of how I look shouldn’t they be told that it’s wrong to single someone out?
“It’s not uncommon to wear a skirt on a Friday night in the city centre. I know this was due to how I look (I’m covered in tattoos).”
Lowri claims staff asked her to put on a coat if she wanted to return to the ice last week.
But she added: “I don’t particularly feel the cold so I paid to put my coat in the cloak room. If I’m a paying customer I expect to be treated like everyone else.”
Lowri, who calls herself a professional socialite and selfie taker, added in a video: “Would this happen if I didn’t look like this? I don’t think so.
“Screw you Karen for ruining my Winter Wonderland experience and you screw you Winter Wonderland staff for complying with a Karen.
“I’m not letting it go until I receive a full apology from staff and a refund to be honest.”
The Mirror has contacted Winter Wonderland in Cardiff for comment.
