Back by popular demand, McSpicy returns to McDonald’s restaurants in the UK and Ireland pn Wednesday, February 15 alongside the Grand Big Mac and the Grand Big with Bacon.
In honour of the permanent return of the McSpicy, AJ Tracey hung out with crew and fans for a sneak preview at the Ladbroke Grove restaurant. Crew took him behind the scenes giving him full reign of the kitchen as he made his very own McSpicy, in full McDonald’s uniform.
AJ said: “As someone from the Caribbean, for me, McSpicy is the first actually spicy burger. It's something we embrace and we love, so it's just really nice to be honest. McSpicy is here to stay permanently."
McSpicy first dropped onto the McDonald’s roster in 2021 and was immediately stamped with AJ’s approval featuring in his video for the single, Summertime Shootout. The burger sold out nationwide in just over two weeks when it initially debuted.
Alongside the McSpicy, for six weeks only, it will be joined on the menu by a variety of returning favourites including: Grand Big Mac, Grand Big Mac with Bacon, Chilli Cheese bites, Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry and Galaxy Caramel McFlurry.
Grand Big Mac is made of two 100% beef patties, a slice of cheese, lettuce, onion and pickles and Big Mac sauce in a sesame topped bun. Grand Big Mac with Bacon will also be back-on menus.
