A 25-year-old man was rushed to hospital in a serious condition after a three vehicle crash on the M56.
Cheshire Police received a 999 call at 2.42pm on Friday, October 28 following reports of a crash on the M56 eastbound. Once officers arrived at the scene, near junction 15 (M53), they found two cars and motorbike had crashed in what National Highways called a "serious collision".
A Honda motorbike, grey Porsche Macan and a grey Peugeot 2008 were involved in the crash, with the officers asking for assistance from the North West Ambulance Service.

The motorbike rider, a 25-year-old man from Wirral, was rushed to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries. His condition is described as not life threatening, with The ECHO understanding he may have broken bones.
The M56 was completely closed eastbound for around 45 minutes following the crash, which cause three miles of delays. Officers then opened lanes two and three for traffic after moving the vehicles involved to the hard shoulder.
