The 49ers have a handful of things to figure out with their group of safeties in 2023, but if Madden ratings are any indication, there’s a clear-cut duo at the top.
EA Sports has begun announcing its ratings for Madden 24, and the safeties were the second position group to be released Monday. Wide receivers were the first.
While San Francisco got very good play from both of its safeties last year, only one landed in the top 20 at the position. Talanoa Hufanga was the No. 16-ranked safety and sticks out above the rest of the position group on the 49ers’ roster.
