Marks & Spencer shoppers have been praising a pair of “trendy” and “comfortable” heeled mules, that some say are a great dupe for a much for expensive designer version. The shoes are currently being sold on the retailer's website for £39.50.
Some customers were “so impressed” they bought multiple pairs, with many saying the shoes were ideal for taking on holiday. The Wide Fit Leather Kitten Heel Mules can be bought in three colours – beige, lime and orange – meaning they can be paired with just about any outfit.
The M&S website describes the shoes as “a versatile choice for smart-casual dressing”. They have a comfy wide fit, which was a specific point of praise for some shoppers who have wider feet.

They also have open toes and a low kitten heel, the Daily Record reports. Greater stability and comfort comes from the Insolia technology, which redistributes weight from the balls of your feet.
A variety of customers are catered to, as they easy-to-wear wardrobe staple comes in sizes three to eight. The classic and contemporary style means they can be worn in both smart and casual outfits.
The shoes look very similar to JIMMY CHOO's Zania 65 mules - which come in at a whopping £525. But with Marks and Spencer's offering, shoppers can save themselves an impressive £485.50.
One happy shopper, called LOOBYLULU, wrote in the reviews section: “WOW! Stunning shoes, so comfortable, having a wide foot they fitted great. Love the heel and so impressed ordered the orange as well, with the sparks discount great price for leather shoes.”
Irene Goldie agreed that the heels are comfortable, saying: “Love these mules. I need a wide fit and these are great. They are very comfortable. True to size.”
Harbie added: “Trendy summer shoes I had purchased the orange ones which are very comfortable and received lots of compliments when worn on holiday recently. So had to have them in taupe too.”
Rachel Elizabeth Rae said they “look like designer” and added: “Gorgeous Colour - Wonderful Style and Soooooo Comfortable.” And Mothers16 put: “Absolutely love the colour of these sandals bright orange So comfortable. The heels are just right for me.”
