Scottish TV host Lorraine Kelly has hit out at scammers she claims are using her photo to promote their weight loss products.
The ITV presenter said that she had become infuriated when she discovered a scam online that was using her image to endorse diet products without her permission, reports the Daily Record.
On Good Morning Britain this morning (April 19), money saving expert Martin Lewis had been warning viewers to remain extra wary of fraudsters.

This segment came after a Scottish woman was conned out of £150,000 by an online advert for crypto currency, using Martin's image.
During the preview of Lorraine's programme, she joined Martin and Susanna via video link, and the presenters asked Lorraine if she had experienced anything similar.
Lorraine replied: "Do you know, I was watching you earlier when you were talking about that - absolutely! Only yesterday, and I'm not on Facebook, but somebody said on Facebook that there was some ridiculous losing weight nonsense that they put my face on and it's infuriating isn't it? It's infuriating!"
She added: "Please, please, please do not fall for the scammers!"
Susanna Reid replied: "You do not endorse weight loss products?"
Lorraine said: "No, absolutely not."
Susanna then went on to note that she had been contacted by somebody who asked her about her 'keto pills' - which she does not use or endorse.
She said: "Mine is 'keto pills', I get people contacting me saying 'I'm desperate to lose weight do these keto pills work?'
"I do not endorse, sell, make, manufacture or back any pills for losing weight!"
At the beginning of 2023, Lorraine opened up about her journey into a healthier lifestyle, as she urged people to 'cut themselves some slack'.
She told The Independent: “I think it’s crazy in January all of a sudden to say, ‘I’m going for a 10-mile run’, or going on a stupid, faddy diet, because they don’t work, we know diets don’t work – you will lose weight, but you’ll just put it all back on again because it’s not sustainable."
She added: “It’s great to have goals, but make it realistic. Because so many people towards the end of [January] are just like, ‘Oh forget it’, and that’s sad.”
She added: "For me, one of the big things has been the community. Social media gets a really bad name, but on the app and using the fact there’s so many of us embarking on this together, sharing experiences and tips and lifting each other up is really, really good.
“I think that’s what it’s all about these days – supporting each other. We all just want to be as healthy and happy as we can be.”
