There are two more players heading for the exit door at Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp continues to revamp his squad.
The club's failure to secure a top four finish in the 2022/23 campaign has prompted the German boss to act. And he has already secured the signing of Brighton's World Cup winning midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, with the Reds also linked with a host of other targets.
But there is also big emphasis on outgoings, with Roberto Firmino, James Milner, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all confirmed departures amid their contracts expiring. The futures of Joel Matip and Fabinho have also been the subject of speculation.
And in the latest developments, Klopp has further trimmed his squad for the next campaign by allowing two youngsters to go out on loan. According to the Metro Fabio Carvalho, who only arrived 12 months ago from Fulham, will end a frustrating period by heading to Bundesliga club RB Leipzig for a season.
The versatile 20-year-old forward has shone in flashes for Klopp, scoring in Premier League wins over Bournemouth and Newcastle. But he recently voiced his own frustrations at failing to command a regular place, taking to Instagram to imply he would be soon be moving elsewhere.
One loan move that has been confirmed is that of defender Rhys Williams, who according to the official club website will spend 2023/24 at Scottish Premier League club Aberdeen. The 22-year-old came through the ranks at Liverpool, but after making 19 appearances during the Covid-hit 2020/21 season, has struggled to impress at other clubs.

Having previously been loaned to Kidderminster Harriers, a temporary move to Championship side Swansea City in 2021 was ended prematurely after he failed to break into the first team. He then began last season at Blackpool, but with the club rock bottom of the second tier, was recalled by Klopp in January amid an injury crisis - but was not used for the remainder of the campaign.
The additional exits hint that the club are making room in their squad for more incomings. Bayern Munich players Benjamin Pavard and Ryan Gravenberch have both been linked, as has Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram and Borussia Monchengladbach's Manu Kone. Liverpool have also expressed an interest in RB Leipzig's Dominik Szoboszlai.
Klopp is keen to get more business done prior to their pre-season games kicking off. The summer programme for the Reds begins with a trip to Germany to play Karlsruher on July 19.
