The Cleveland Browns will officially start their fourth different quarterback of the season on Sunday when they face the Los Angeles Rams. With Dorian Thompson-Robinson ruled out, the Browns will start Joe Flacco under center.
It will be Flacco’s first start of the season, and he’s only been with the Browns for a couple of weeks after signing to their practice squad. Flacco last played a game in 2022 as a member of the New York Jets, starting four games for them and going 1-3 in those contests. He threw five touchdown passes and three interceptions, averaging 210.2 yards per game.
Flacco is 38 years old and in his 16th season in the NFL, having spent the first 11 of them with the Baltimore Ravens.
