Dougie MacDuff admits that between key injuries and strong substitute performances he will have a “sore head” at the weekend.
Irvine Vics head to Dalry Thistle with a number of important players set to miss out.
Danger man Alessandro Savarese hobbled off early against Carluke Rovers but his replacement Gerard Clark did just fine, slamming home a brace.
MacDuff said: “Sav came off after 10 minutes and it looks like he pulled his hamstring.
“We’ve got a few other important players out, but at the same time it works both ways.
“Gerard came on and scored two – that’s what we are looking for. Kyro Crawford came on and scored, too.
“I’m happy for the guys. They’ve waited long enough for their opportunities and they’ve taken it.
“It gives me a sore head for next week but that’s not a bad thing.”
