I tried Marks & Spencer's new spring cleaning range and my house smelled like a spa

Marks & Spencer has launched its own 'No Marks, All Sparkle' cleaning range.

The new range features laundry products, surface cleaner, fabric freshener spray, washing up liquid and more. Made with bespoke fragrances, the scented products are made up of 10 essential oils.

Designed for AM to PM, the full product list includes washing up liquid, kitchen surface cleaner, fabric freshener spray, non bio laundry liquid, fabric conditioner, multi surface wipes, dishwasher tablets, multi surface cleaner, concentrated disinfectant and toilet gel. As someone who's admittedly a little lazy with cleaning, I've been trying to find a quick and easy solution for a clean house - and this new M&S range might be it.

I've tried so many different kitchen surface cleaners that don't always work in terms of scent. The M&S products were particularly potent, and smelled so fresh.

The Italian lemon & ginger kitchen surface cleaner

The M&S Italian lemon & ginger kitchen surface cleaner is priced at £2, and smells absolutely incredible.

Some surface cleaners have a scent that lasts for a mere few seconds, but this lemon & ginger scent seriously stuck around. It offered the perfect amount of zest with a powerful ginger tang that really stuck to my kitchen surfaces.

When using the surface cleaner I found myself wanting to clean the kitchen over and over again, which let me tell you, is very rare for me. I'm usually the type of person who will give my kitchen a once over and hope for the best, but this scent was pretty addictive to say the least.

It worked really well at cleaning off some coffee stains on my kitchen surface that can usually be pretty tricky to remove with a sponge. I used the surface cleaner with the scourer side of the sponge and it came off in a flash.

The French lavender and peony fabric freshener spray

This was by far my favourite product, it smelled so good. I often find that even after washing my bed sheets, they don't smell completely fresh, especially after they've been sat in my airing cupboard for a while.

After tidying my whole house, I sprayed the French lavender spray on my sheets, on my sofa, and generally throughout each of my rooms and I was honestly amazed. The scent was so lovely, and the French lavender and peony added a lovely finishing touch to my already clean house.

I've used a few fabric sprays in the past and they usually don't last very long, but this M&S freshener spray stayed put for a good few hours. After tidying my house in the day, my bed sheets still felt amazing even when it was time for bed.

The almond & sweet orange multi surface cleaner

Although this was my least favourite scent out of them all, the multi surface cleaner still did an incredible job. I used it to wipe down the sides in my dressing room and my coffee table and it worked a treat.

It left my surfaces looking shiny and clean and didn't leave any marks where my cloth had been, which can sometimes happen with certain cleaning products. The scent was once again, very potent, but not too overpowering.

Price: £2

The green tea & bergamot disinfectant

This green tea & bergamot disinfectant smelled unreal, it was so fresh and left my kitchen sink looking sparkly and smelling great. I can be a little lazy when it comes to my sink, and often just give it a quick scrub with a generic cleaner and be done with it.

Since I've started using this disinfectant, my sink looks considerably cleaner and the scent in my kitchen is to die for. After cooking a mammoth roast dinner the other day, I used to disinfectant on my sink, and it left absolutely no trace of roast dinner trimmings or the smell of roast beef - winner!

Price: £3.50

The verdict

Considering most of these products cost around £2/£3, I was seriously impressed with the product range. I often associate Marks & Spencer's products with being quite expensive, but this new spring cleaning range was relatively affordable.

Not only was the range affordable, but you get a lot in the 750ml, and aspects such as the scent seriously lasted a long time. Let's just say, I'm pretty much addicted to the French lavender & peony fabric freshener spray, and would wear it as a perfume it I could.

Marks & Spencer have got it spot on in terms of fragrance, with all of the products offering a fresh, spring scent. I'm in love with this new range, and will definitely be using it all year round.
