New images of Manchester City's supposed third shirt for the 2023/24 season have leaked on social media.
Puma will once again be manufacturing City's kits for the forthcoming campaign as Pep Guardiola's side look to somehow better their historic treble triumph of last season. The new home shirt was released before the season concluded and pays homage to the Etihad Stadium's iconic spiral walkways with a pattern on the front.
If the leaked images are to be believed, the third kit is set to be even more striking. A user on the Reddit page r/MCFC posted a photo of the shirt at an Absolute Soccer store in Burlington, Canada, and it matches images of the shirt that leaked back in January.
The shirt is predominantly black but features a striking sky-blue lightning design crawling its way across the front. The City crest, Puma insignia and Etihad Airways logo all stand out in bright coral pink.

It features a crewneck collar with blue pipping with the same design on the cuff of the sleeves. There is further blue trimming around the hem.
It's certainly an eye-catching design but one that looks as though it could prove divisive amongst supporters. Opinions were certainly split on Reddit.
One user described the shirt as 'horrid' while another echoed those thoughts by writing: "God awful, maybe my least favourite City kit ever." Another added: "Imagine the treble-winning three-peaters having to wear that lol."
Ugly, yikes and vomit were all used in reaction as well but some fans had a different view. One user wrote: "Idk about everyone else here but I love it," and another added: "Why all the hate? It’s a third jersey, the colors are always different on them from our normal colors. I think the colors they used are nice and the design is pretty cool and clean."
City have yet to officially reveal their away or third kit for the new season but may do soon ahead of their first friendly of pre-season on July 23.
