RAJKOT: A 40-year-old woman, selling cutlery, was murdered near Ganeshgadh village of Bhavnagar’s Velavadar taluka, on Monday.
The victim Daksha Rathod’s husband Shravan, a construction labourer, told police that she had gone in the rickshaw owned by Sajan Algotara with other women. On Sunday, she went alone in his rickshaw and was found murdered with severe head injuries. Alogatara is missing after the murder. Daksha was a mother of five. Police suspect the auto driver might have forced her into sexual relationship and killed after she refused.
