Singer and radio presenter Wynne Evans has opened up about his marriage break-up which led to suicidal thoughts before eventually "feeling alive again" following his weight loss and recovery.
Carmarthen-born Wynne, 51, who lives in Cardiff, admitted he even contemplated taking his own life when his marriage came to an end in 2016, with the dark period being "the saddest (he had) ever been in (his) life," and he felt like he had to "wear a mask" in public to make it seem like all was okay.
As well as his mental health struggles, Wynne battled with his weight from a young age, weighing 150 kilos (23.6 stone) at his heaviest - and at one stage, he said he would "have to be careful what chair (he) would sit on, just in case (he) broke the chair", describing it as "embarrassing".
