What would Halloween be without ghosts? Fortnitemares 2022 is bringing two new quests to the game every day, and today’s introduce a brand new mechanic with no explanation. You’ll be sent out there to find and destroy seven pieces of haunted furniture, which is quite confusing if you don’t know what to look for. We’ll tell you where you’re most likely to find this furniture, how to recognize what’s haunted, and how to destroy them.
Fortnite haunted furniture locations - Fortnitemares 2022
As you may expect, you’ll need to search houses to find the appropriate furniture. Your best bet is in highly populated areas like Tilted Towers or Greasy Grove. There you’ll find plenty of houses, all of which have furniture that might be haunted, you’ll just have to be aware of other players waiting to take you out.
You’ll be able to easily tell which furniture is haunted, as they’re floating off the ground and surrounded in a feint white glow.
How to destroy haunted household furniture - Fortnitemares 2022
Once you’ve found it, destroying it is easy, as most items will crumble with just one or two hits from a pickaxe. You can technically use guns too, but not only is that very noisy, it’s a waste of ammo too. Once you’ve destroyed it, you should see the ghost that was haunting the furniture fade away. Rinse and repeat seven times and you’ll have completed this Fortnitemares quest.
