Detectives are appealing for information following a report that a member of staff was struck with a glass bottle during an robbery in East Belfast
Shortly after 10:30pm on Friday night it was reported that a man entered commercial premises on the Upper Newtownards Road and demanded money from a member of staff.
The member of staff was then struck on the face with a glass bottle before the male made off on foot towards the city centre.
