Davy Russell was ecstatic after riding a winner on his horse racing comeback.
Russell decided to call it a day on his illustrious racing career in December but was coaxed out of retirement by Gordon Elliott.
Jack Kennedy is currently side lined with injury and Russell has taken up lead jockey in his stables in Kennedy's absence.
And Kennedy raced to glory aboard Teahupoo in Gorwan Park and Russell was ecstatic.
Speaking on RTE, he said: "It just took a turn for that to happen and what could I do? I wasn't off that long and very familiar with all the horses.
"It was made easier by the timing of it but it's never an easy decision and all our thoughts are with Jack (Kennedy). It was just Gordon didn't want to throw the boys into the deep end.
"Maybe a fortnight (I was retired). I flicked the switch off and it was a matter of flicking it back on again and it was days like today in front of a marvellous crowd and good horse in a graded race and that's what it's all about. "
