
It can be tricky to explain anxiety to a child. Not only are they mostly unaware of what's causing the bad feelings and the psychology behind them, but they also don't often have the vocabulary to explain it.
Unlike adults, who can usually understand the cause of anxiety (even if coping with and alleviating it is another story), children can find themselves stuck in a never-ending cycle of scary thoughts without any comfort that it's going to get better.
