A viral post has claimed that NBA player LaMelo Ball paid social media personality Jaden Newman $250,000 (about £190,000) after allegedly seeing a private video involving her. There is no verified evidence that Ball made the payment or that the pair had the encounter described in the post.
The claim was published by an X account, which alleged that Newman had acknowledged sleeping with Ball after he saw the video and that he paid her $250,000 for a single encounter. The post also attributed a direct quote to Newman, but the statement has not been traced to a verified interview, official account or reputable news report.
