Recent reports have suggested that Mikel Arteta is keen to bring Neto to the Emirates Stadium before the window slams shut in just over a week, although a deal could hinge on the Gunners offloading club-record signing Nicolas Pepe. Pepe has been heavily linked with a return to Ligue 1 and OGC Nice currently look to be the frontrunners to sign the Ivorian on a season-long loan.
