Global design, engineering and consultancy services business Arcadis is to relocate 500 staff across Birmingham city centre to a new home after signing an office deal.
The company has become the latest to agree a move to the newly built 103 Colmore Row, taking a ten-year lease for 12,132 sq ft on the 16th floor.
Arcadis has been based at Cornerblock, in Cornwall Street, since 2017.
Simon Marks, city executive for Birmingham and the Midlands at Arcadis, said: "The move to 103 Colmore Row represents an exciting new chapter for us in Birmingham, demonstrating our commitment to the city and region.
"We firmly believe we still need offices but it must be a different type of space that reflects the changing nature of the work day and our people.
"The continued strength of the office market demonstrates the importance of having a place for collaboration, shared ideas and social interaction and the impact this has not only on productivity but crucially the health and wellbeing of employees."
103 Colmore Row has more than 220,000 sq ft of space across 26 storeys and is being developed by Tristan Capital Partners and Sterling Property Ventures.
Other recent signings include deals with financial services firm Grant Thornton, property agency Knight Frank and law firm Shoosmiths.
Last month, restaurant group D&D London announced that its new French-themed venue on the 24th floor would be called Orelle and was due to open in October.
There will also be a co-working hub and members' club on the 18th floor to be run by London-based operator x+why.
Following the letting to Arcadis, three quarters of the office space at 103 Colmore Row is now let or under offer.
James Howarth, managing director of Sterling Property Ventures, added: "Arcadis is another great blue-chip company to add to 103 Colmore Row's ever expanding tenant list.
"At the current rate of lettings, we anticipate the building will be fully let before the end of the year."
