In what was one of the more intriguing picks of the 2024 NFL Draft, Sean Payton and the Denver Broncos stayed put with their pick and selected a replacement for the Russell Wilson era in former Oregon quarterback Bo Nix.
Looks like Bo Nix had himself a day
After an INT to start, he bounced back and showed his experience despite being a rookie
Ended the day with 3 nice TDs and looked composed

With little competition outside of Zach Wilson, Nix looks to take over this roster and Sean Payton’s offense immediately. It’s very clear that Payton has a plan in place for Nix, and given his years of experience as a starter in college Nix should adapt faster than the other rookie quarterbacks in this class.
That being said, the talent on this Denver roster leaves a lot to be desired and there will need to be a few breakout stars if Nix is going to have a successful rookie season in its own right. While Nix should be able to take command of this offense, the talent around him could ultimately sour a solid rookie season.
Stat projection: 19 touchdowns, 8 interceptions, 3,400 passing yards, 400 rushing yards
