This week started off with a tragedy as three UPSC aspirants drowned in the basement library of a coaching institute due to rainwater flooding in Delhi’s Karol Bagh. It soon triggered the usual blame game between the BJP and AAP. 

On July 27, in the wake of the death of three IAS aspirants in the basement library of Rau’s IAS coaching centre in Delhi’s Karol Bagh, the students residing in the area took to the street to protest against administrative lapses that purportedly led to the tragedy.     

Days after three UPSC aspirants drowned in a coaching institute’s basement due to sudden flooding, Old Rajinder Nagar was flooded again on Wednesday evening amid heavy rain. 

On the Rajendra Nagar incident, where three UPSC aspirants died, the Delhi High Court on Wednesday directed that senior officials of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) must visit the affected areas to ensure change. Read further on Dynamite News:
