Elon Musk's public criticism of India's regulatory process for Starlink has triggered a political exchange, with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi responding to the billionaire's allegations against Ambani and a UPSC educator questioning whether India should give in to pressure over the satellite internet service.
Shekhar Dutt, an education influencer and co-founder of Sleepy Classes, has fact checked Elon Musk's allegation and has argued that India must make its own decision on Starlink, keeping national security concerns in mind. In a video, Dutt questioned Musk's approach and explained why approval in several countries does not automatically mean India should follow the same path. His remarks come amid a dispute over the delay in Starlink's commercial launch in India. Musk has alleged that influential business interests are preventing the satellite internet company from entering the market, while the government has rejected claims of discriminatory treatment.
