Lectron is producing 12,000 NACS to CCS adapters per week, the company said on Tuesday. The adapters will allow non-Tesla EV owners access to more than 2,400 Tesla Supercharger stations in the U.S. that house more than 28,400 charging ports, as per the latest figures from the Alternative Fuels Data Center.  

The Tesla Supercharger network has long been the benchmark in the DC fast charging world. With tens of thousands of stalls in North America alone, Superchargers gave Tesla the edge because they’re (almost) everywhere and they’re simple to use, making long road trips hassle-free.
