Oliver Solberg stunned the World Rally Championship field to score a commanding maiden win on his Rally1 return in Estonia and deliver Toyota's 100th WRC victory.

Oliver Solberg says World Rally Championship legend Sebastien Ogier has helped him “a lot” to feel “ready” to drive a factory Toyota Rally1 car at next week’s Rally Estonia.

Fourmaux is set to begin a second attempt as a full-time Rally1 driver this season - starting in Monte Carlo this weekend - with the Frenchman drafted in to lead the Ford team following Ott Tanak’s departure to Hyundai.

Misted-up windscreens were a hot topic last Friday as extreme wet weather hit the stages. The issue afflicted the prototype spaceframe-built Rally1 cars much more severely than Rally2 machines derived from production-based models.   

The British squad has announced the Frenchman will pilot a Ford Puma Rally1 alongside its other full-time entrant driven by Ott Tanak at the asphalt event from 16-19 November.

Tanak completed the day's six demanding gravel stages with a 4.2s lead over Suninen, who impressed in only his third Rally1 start.
