More than 10,000 personnel of the Army and the paramilitary Assam Rifles were deployed to douse the ethnic fire that singed Manipur for at least three days from May 3

“A soldier from the Assam Rifles was injured while diffusing an improvised bomb in Saitan village in Manipur’s Bishnupur district Friday morning (May 12), about 60 km south of Imphal,” officials said.
