Zombie knife, machete and bat modified to hold nails seized from teen's flat

A zombie knife, machete and baseball bat adapted to hold nails was found in a teenager's flat after a police raid.

Police officers raided a flat on Chequers Street, Wigan, on Monday, May 15 as part of a national campaign targeting weapons. Police seized a number of dangerous weapons from the flat including a machete, a zombie knife, an air-powered BB gun and a wooden baseball bat that had been modified to hold nails.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon in a private place and possessing class A and B drugs. The teenager was bailed while the drugs were tested.
