Fry Magazine has unveiled its list of the top 50 best fish and chip shops in the UK - and not one of them is in Liverpool.
The quintessentially British 'chippy tea' is a beloved classic, and a firm favourite feast for many. Comforting, indulgent and nostalgic, it's no surprise that there's a range of organisations dedicated to judging which venues are worthy of recognition.
Liverpool has no shortage of impressive fish and chip shops, with some local venues featuring in the National Fish and Chip awards, and others included in the Good Chippy Awards.
