The death of a young mother found in sand dunes is being treated as not suspicious, police say.
Payge Leembruggen, 31, was discovered by a man walking his dogs at a popular Mackay beach in central Queensland on Tuesday.
She had last been seen four days earlier at a nearby hair salon.
Two days after launching an appeal for information, Queensland Police on Friday said a report was being prepared for the coroner.
"Officers and the woman's family would like to sincerely thank members of the community for their assistance, information, and support throughout the investigation," a police statement said.
Support was being provided to Ms Leembruggen's family and her child was being cared for by family members.
