Arkansas school district sues teen after payroll mix-up puts $12,000 in her bank account

An Arkansas school district filed a lawsuit against a teenager who it accidentally sent $12,000 in a payroll mix-up, according to a report.

In a lawsuit, filed October 9 in Pulaski County, the North Little Rock School District alleges 19-year-old Adamaris Guereca received $12,755.62 over the course of five payroll deposits from the school district between May 22 and June 23, KARK reported.
