The Cleveland Browns got a solid showing out of second-year defensive ends Alex Wright and Isaiah Thomas in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. However, now both will be shelved for “some time” according to head coach Kevin Stefanski after suffering knee injuries against the New York Jets.
To add bodies in camp, the Browns went out and signed a defensive end in Charles Wiley, but some more reinforcements may need to be brought in. This is especially true when you consider the body of work that both Wright and Thomas can provide along the interior as well.
