A single follower has dragged one of Hollywood's most dissected breakups back into the spotlight on evidence that amounts to a follower list.
Over the weekend, social media users began scrutinising an anonymous Instagram account that some believe belongs to actor Channing Tatum.
The account has been linked to comments beneath posts about his former fiancée, Zoë Kravitz, and her fiancé, Harry Styles, but Tatum has not addressed the claims, the screenshots underpinning the theory remain unverified, and a follower link alone does not establish who operates the account.
The Account Fuelling the Speculation
The profile drew attention on the Reddit forum r/Fauxmoi on 20 September, where users flagged that an account named 'Nonya Bidness' appeared to have a single follower: Tatum's account.
That detail, according to The Express Tribune, prompted social media users to question whether the actor could be behind the profile, while reports have differed on the direction of the link.
The outlet reported the account had left comments about Tatum, Kravitz and her relationship with Styles. An entertainment outlet reported the account commented on a viral post showing the couple displaying affection publicly, with one remark apparently suggesting the commenter was there purely out of spite.

Screenshots circulating on X and Reddit purport to show further comments reflecting on a phrase Tatum once used to describe Kravitz, reframed against her current relationship. The Sun reported that fans seized on the account's characterisation of Kravitz as calculating, but the screenshots have not been independently authenticated.
No outlet has independently verified the screenshots, and it is unclear whether any were altered before circulating. The account itself also appears to be inactive, leaving no public confirmation of who operated it.

Questions Around the Theory
Several Reddit users who discussed the account offered more mundane explanations that fit the same facts. Commenters pointed out that a celebrity operating a burner account would be unlikely to follow it from his verified profile, while others suggested it could have been run by a friend, family member or fan whose posts Tatum happened to follow.
There is also a documented precedent. In a January 2023 Vanity Fair interview, Tatum acknowledged following fan accounts dedicated to Kravitz while the two were dating, saying he had 'no chill' and was simply keeping up with her.
His previous comments show that following fan accounts was not unusual for him, although they do not establish who operates the account in question.
Context Around the Relationships
Tatum and Kravitz were first linked in August 2021 and became engaged in October 2023, before ending the relationship in October 2024 after more than three years together.
Kravitz and Styles were first linked in August 2025, when a fan video of the pair walking arm in arm in Rome was posted to X. They were later photographed kissing in London, and the following month had lunch in New York with Kravitz's father, musician Lenny Kravitz, where a source told People the gathering felt beyond casual.
Engagement speculation built through late 2025 and early 2026 after Kravitz was photographed wearing a ring on her left hand. In April 2026, People reported, citing a source, that Kravitz and Styles were engaged, although neither has personally commented publicly on the engagement.
Tatum has previously spoken warmly of Kravitz. After the August 2024 release of Blink Twice, which she directed and he starred in, he posted an Instagram tribute praising her persistence and her search for truth while making the film.
Kravitz told Elle in February 2025 that she remained grateful for the relationship, saying she loved what they made together and cared for him very much.
