The family of a five-year-old Florida boy who died when a 120-pound interactive display board fell on him at school has hired lawyers and expects to bring several lawsuits.

Bellamy Dawkins-Morris died on Wednesday, 7 October 2026, after the Promethean board came down at Riviera Elementary School in Palm Bay, Brevard County. Police are still investigating how the wall-mounted display came loose.
