Two young children and a 38-year-old woman from County Durham have been rushed to hospital following a fatal collision in Lancashire.
The A586 Garstang Road close to Larbreck was closed for six hours on Sunday evening following a two vehicle collision at around 8.25pm. A 66-year-old woman from Heysham, Lancashire, who was driving a Dacia Sendero, suffered fatal injuries and sadly died at the scene.
Her passengers, a 38-year-old woman and two girls, aged eight and five, all from Seaham, County Durham, were also injured and taken to hospital.
