X Factor star Tom Mann penned an emotional tribute to his late fiancée, one year after she died on what would have been their wedding day.
The 29-year-old singer was meant to marry his bride-to-be Danielle Hampson on June 18, 2022, but instead took to social media to share the tragic news that she had passed away.
The singer said at the time that he was "completely broken" by her death and he appears to be still struggling to come to terms with his devastating loss from 12 months ago.
Tom shared a black and white photograph of Danielle who was holding their son Bowie, who was born in October 2021.
In the heartbreaking post, he wrote: "1 year, somehow.
"1 year ago, I put on my suit expecting to meet you at that town hall & tell you ‘I do’. I ended up wearing it in a hospital waiting room.
"1 year ago, my biggest worry had been that unbearable heat. It was impossible to know the unbearable pain that was about to come.
"1 year ago, I had woken up beside you for the last time."
He continued: "No answers to how or why, and no words to articulate any of these feelings. Nothing makes any sense & everything has changed. I don’t know why you couldn’t stay.
"Dan, Bowie will know everything that you were to everyone that knew you. He will know your love & light over your loss.
"I am so very grateful that someone as special as you chose me. Thank you for letting me love you."
Tom rose to fame as one of the members of eight-piece band Stereo Kicks, who were put together by the judges on the 11th series of The X Factor in 2014.
All eight singers initially auditioned as solo artists but were rejected at the boot camp stage of the show. However, the judges formed the band and they performed Snow Patrol's Run and advanced to judges' houses.
They subsequently progressed to the live shows and eventually finished in fifth place, with Ben Haenow winning the series ahead of Fleur East.
Tom later paid tribute to his dad on Father's Day on his Instagram Stories as she shared a sweet photo of himself and both his parents.
He wrote: "Late in the day but happy Father's Day @mannclan123 you are everything to me.
"You and mum have got me through the last year. I don't know how to thank you, but I do know you've shown me what it means to be a father. I'll carry that forever."
