Clash at the Castle is set to be just the first of an era of UK stadium WWE pay per views according to top WWE wrestler Drew McIntyre.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror at the press launch for the long-awaited event which has seen the entire city embrace the wrestling company with everything from free events to large murals of wrestlers' faces, main eventer McIntyre was clear this is just the beginning.

He told us: "I've never seen it so crazy in the UK and it's about time. It feels like a Summerslam or a Wrestlemania here right now. The energy is electric. Cardiff has really gone above and beyond and this is the perfect phase one of many UK stadium shows as far as I'm concerned.
"This is the blueprint. I can already tell how successful it's going to be and once everyone actually sees the visual of the show tomorrow, the spectacle and, more importantly the crowd, they're going to say why didn't we do this sooner? And I'll be like 'I've told you for years!'"
Elsewhere on the card, Celtic Warrior Sheamus will be taking on Gunther for the Intercontinental Title. He too believes the Cardiff megashow is just the beginning for large-scale events this side of the Atlantic.
He said: "This is going to be something very, very historic and I think it's gonna be the first of many pay per views coming over here. I think it opens the door for a lot of other places too - we're in Cardiff, why not Dublin or Glasgow or Edinburgh? It's just, it's really cool."
The Scottish fan favourite is set to take on Universal Champion Roman Reigns in tomorrow's main event but will also have one eye on Tyson Fury, who he has previously had a war of words with and will be sitting ringside on the night.
McIntyre said: "I suggest he stays out of my match - I'm not running into his boxing matches with chairs or whatever. And then after the match, once I've won the titles, they maybe we'll see what will happen."
