Has Malik Tillman done enough to convince Rangers to fork out the millions on a permanent deal?
Keith Jackson: It’s not even a question. If Rangers can land this guy for £5m they’ll pull off a heist on Bayern Munich. Tillman is top notch.
Gordon Parks : Can Rangers afford him? That’s a bigger question but Tillman’s timed his upturn in form to perfection and if he can be kept then it would be good business.
Craig Swan : Much of that will depend on how much of a budget Michael Beale has. Tillman is certainly worth buying, but other positions also need to be addressed.
Andrew Newport: I’d say yes given the substantial improvements he’s made this season, especially since Michael Beale’s arrival but he probably needs a big performance in at least one of the three remaining derby duels this season to win over the remaining doubters.
Would Ange Postecoglou leave Celtic for Spurs?
Keith Jackson: A club of the stature and spending power of Spurs would certainly give him something to think about. But the big Aussie seems perfectly happy at his work right now. And he’s got an itch to scratch in the Champions League next season. He won’t jump ship unless he’s made an offer which is impossible to refuse.
Gordon Parks: The natural law will apply to Postecoglou in the same way as most of his Celtic predecessors who can’t resist the lure of England’s Premier League. If Spurs want him then he’ll be off like a shot.
Craig Swan : That’s a question for Ange Postecoglou. It’s unlikely he’s in any rush to get out of the door, but any coach would, of course, consider any options that become available.
Andrew Newport : I can’t see the Aussie going midseason but it’s hard to see how he could resist a move to the biggest league in the world if one of the big hitters were to make him an offer this summer.
Will Aberdeen finish above Hearts to secure third?
Keith Jackson: No. Hearts might be wobbling at the moment but they are still the third strongest side in the country and they will recover from this blip to prove it in the league table.
Gordon Parks : The lack of energy and authority shown by Hearts against Killie was alarming but they have enough quality to get a grip of their current situation and finish with a flourish.
Craig Swan : No, Hearts are still the favourites to secure the place behind the Glasgow pair. They are on a poor run, but it will turn.
Andrew Newport: They’ve got all the momentum. Fair play to Barry Robson for turning a dismal Dons side around but if they do end up piping Hearts you’ve got to say Neilson and his team have tossed third place away.
Who goes down automatically between Dundee United, Ross County and Kilmarnock?
Keith Jackson: United are an absolute mess. They should be too good to go down but their performances suggest otherwise. Jim Goodwin is in big trouble.
Gordon Parks : The games are running out for United but Goodwin’s squad is still capable of stringing wins together and it’s between them and County in a straight dogfight to stay up.
Craig Swan: It’s looking like Dundee United at this stage. Jim Goodwin has not been able to achieve that crucial bounce in terms of results.
Andrew Newport: Killie got a huge result against Hearts but they’re not clear of danger yet. Their home record has been solid but away Derek McInnes’ men have been woeful. With Celtic due at Rugby Park in between trips to Aberdeen and St Mirren ahead of the split they could yet be dragged back by the bottom two.
