Newcastle United supporters group Wor Flags saw the club's final home game of the campaign out in style with a display that involved the whole of St James' Park. With United needing just one point against visitors Leicester City to secure a spot in next season's Champions League, the fans had their chance to set the tone ahead of the 8pm kick-off.
After months of planning, Wor Flags' biggest display yet was unveiled to the millions watching across the world. There was a black and white shield on the Galllowgate, the old curved Newcastle United crest on the Leazes, flags across the Milburn, and a huge banner stretching the length of the East Stand.
That banner showed the faces of this season's squad and manager Eddie Howe, with the quote 'Hard work pays off. Dreams come True. Bad times don't last but legends do.'

A spokesman from Wor Flags told Chronicle Live: "We wanted something to accompany the banner. There are hardly any words that do this season justice, but we dug deep and found this quote and thought it was relevant.
"This really is a case of dreams coming true. We are one step away from Champions League football, who’d have thought that was possible two years ago? It still doesn’t feel real, and whilst we aren’t there yet and need a result, to be this close is unbelievable.
"Well over 500 hours have gone into this from the entire group. From planning stages to putting everything together inside the stadium. It is slightly on the wild side for us and it is definitely new, so it needed to be perfect.
"With it being the last home game, we would always have gone big, it just so happens this could be one of the biggest nights we have experienced at St James’ Park for some time, so the display is very fitting for that. Let’s hope we all have our voices with us."
This display eclipses the one the group put together for last season's final home game - the two-nil win over Arsenal. In a special thanks to those who have funded and helped Wor Flags, the group wanted to reaffirm their gratitude.
"Once again, and we keep banging this drum, without Newcastle fans donating this does not happen. Without Newcastle fans waving the flags inside the stadium, this does not happen. From everyone at Wor Flags, thank you!."
