The first round of group games at the Women’s Euro 2022 concludes today as Group D takes centre stage.
We seen plenty of action already over the first few days of the tournament, not to mention plenty of goals. After England opened proceedings with victory over Austria in front of a record crowd at Old Trafford, Norway, Spain and Germany have all gone to hit their opponents for four.
Today sees the final group get their chance to impress. Belgium take on Iceland in the earlier kick-off in Manchester, before France face Italy in Rotherham later this evening.

The French are among the favourites to go all the way to Wembley on July 31, and the side ranked number three in the world will be expected to breeze through their group. They face arguably their toughest opponents of the opening stage first up though, with Italy aiming to defy the odds.
Belgium and Iceland meanwhile should make for an intriguing battle, with just two places separating them in the world rankings. With just two places up for grabs for the quarter-finals, neither will want to slip up in their first outing.
