Woman who quit job as waitress now planning to buy second house, aged 21

A woman who quit her waitressing job to launch a £300k-a-year OnlyFans has now made enough - to buy a second home. Elsa Thora, 21, used to earn £18k a year working tables. But she now brings in an impressive £25k a month selling videos.

Now she jets off around the globe visiting Thailand, Italy, Greece, Poland, Netherlands and Bali with her friends. Elsa’s success meant she was able to buy her first house at age 19: a three-bed £200k property in Yorkshire. And she’s now looking to purchase her second home when she returns to the UK in June 2023.

Elsa, originally from Sweden, said: “I bought a house when I was 19. I’m going to buy a second house when I am back in the UK.

“It feels crazy. I’m super excited for that. I love travelling and I can work wherever I am. I’m so grateful. I love what I do.”

Elsa decided to give OnlyFans a go after not knowing what to do after finishing her A-levels in Summer 2020. She said: “I wasn’t really ready to go to uni. Then in two weeks I made £2.5k.

“Compared to my last salary that was crazy. I was so shocked.”

The former waitress couldn’t believe it when her page “blew up” in 2021 – after she started a TikTok account. Now Elsa has 1,500 subscribers and spends her time travelling the world and is currently spending three months in Bali. She said: “I’ve been to Thailand, Italy, Greece, Poland and the Netherlands.

“I really want to do an America trip as I’ve just turned 21. And I’d love to do Australia too.”

Although her job is flexible, Elsa says she works everyday and spends all day chatting to her subscribers. Elsa said: “I work quite a lot.

“But I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon.”

Elsa said her family were “quite shocked” by her career choice and “don’t talk about it”.

She said: “My friends have been really supportive.”

Elsa gets all sorts of strange requests for content and has been asked to act like a dog and bark and pretend the subscriber is an ant. She claims she has even had DM’s from Premier League footballers.

She said: “I think if you go into OnlyFans you have to have a lot of confidence. It’s made me have really thick skin. I get called a ‘hooker’ and told to ‘get a real job.’ But I’m not planning on stopping anytime soon.

“When I first opened my page I never thought someone would pay for me. Now I’m here.”
