The woman who was seen nonchalantly emptying her Dollar store bag into Mill Lake in Abbotford has been fined for $1000 as she was issued two violation tickets. The police said they won't release the identity of the woman but they confirmed that cops identified the woman and visited her house. The video sparked a major outrage on all social media platforms as commentators blamed her 'Indian-origin' for such behavior. The cops did not confirm whether she was Indian or South Asian.

The video was taken by two women who, from the other side of the lake, saw the woman trashing the lake. The two women then countered the trashing woman and asked her whether she knew how inappropriate it was to trash the lake that had wildlife. The woman first denied that she littered the lake; but when the other two women told her that they saw her doing it and took a video of it, the woman defiantly asked them to not to speak to her.
The video went viral in no time with the community trying to identify the offender.
