Online dating isn't without its horror stories, and almost anyone who has tried to find love through an app will have encountered at least one potential match that's completely not what you were looking for.
But for one woman on TikTok, she was forced to hit back at one bloke she met online after he decided to make a body-shaming comment about women who wear bikinis that left a sour taste in her mouth.
Haley, who is from the US, posted a video in which she shared the messages she'd exchanged with one of her matches from a dating app, where it appeared as though he was trying to work out whether the woman was "fat".
And in his responses, the man said he was only interested in finding a relationship with women who were "skinny" enough to "look good in a bikini" - which left Haley seething.

In the screenshot, which was posted to Haley's @hay.baybay account, the man said: "I like skinny girls, yes.
"Not like super super skinny, but good enough to look good in a bikini, if that makes sense."
Haley then hit back at the bloke with a savage response, as she told him: "Oh, well I like smart guys.
"Not like smart enough to do brain surgery, but smart enough to not say dumb things like that."
The woman's video quickly went viral and has received more than 394,000 views since it was posted earlier this week - with commenters heaping praise on her for her "elite" response.
One person wrote: "This clap back is elite."
While another added: "Why is tact such a hard thing for men?"
"This was the BEST comeback, super-smart and made me laugh", a third stated.
Some commenters tried to insist the man was simply being "honest" about his "type", but others responded to state you can have a type without making other people feel bad about themselves.
One said: "Sounds like he has a type, tried to find out if you were that type, and then gave you an honest answer."
But another replied: "He can talk about his preferences without degrading people who don’t fit them, it’s a huge red flag."
Haley even received a response from one woman who claimed she "doesn't look good in a bikini", who thanked her for making her feel "less alone" by sticking up for her.
She said: "Thank you. As someone who does NOT look good in a bikini, I appreciate women like you telling these guys off. It makes me feel less alone."
And Haley replied: "Girl, we stick together! We are soo much more than just our bodies. I appreciate you saying that."
